FREEDOM FLOWERS SERIES:

Our freedoms are something we take as a given right.  But I have learned, that despite the wish for it to be so, freedom isn’t free, and an onslaught of a series of events over the past few months gives pause to consider our freedom and how we value it.  The inspiration behind these paintings are the current events unfolding in Ukraine and the Baltic region with a deeply held wish and prayer for the end of the war in Ukraine, and thus, the eventual restoration of peace, well being and freedom for all in Europe.  Having family and loved ones in the Baltic Region and in Europe, I have donated the estimated proceeds to Global Giving Ukraine Fund to assist in meeting the needs of those adversely affected.  This is my prayer for peace made manifest.
